Dr. Stewart has been practicing Dermatology in Clinton Township for over thirty years and is a leader in the Michigan dermatology community. He attended college at Wayne State University and completed medical school at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. After finishing his internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital, he completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at Wayne State University.

Dr. Stewart has served as a Professor of Dermatology at Michigan State University as well as Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Wayne State University. Dr. Stewart is the Senior Clinical Investigator at the Michigan Center for Cutaneous Research and the Program Director for the St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Dermatology Residency Training Program.

Today, Dr. Stewart is the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at McLaren Macomb. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Dermatological Society since 1975.

Dr. Daniel Stewart is on the consulting staff of Beaumont Hospital in Troy, McLaren Macomb in Clinton Township, and St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.

He is the author of many academic publications and presentations. Dr. Stewart has been named to numerous “Best Doctor” and “Top Doctor” lists, including the Hour Magazine of Detroit list for many consecutive years.
